1. All driving lessons will be one-on-one, which means only the Driving Instructor and Student Driver are in the vehicle. Permission is required from the Driving Instructor to have a parent/guardian observe a lesson.

2. All driving behind-the-wheel lessons will be 80% practical driving training, and 20% on discussions and evaluations.

3. Licence To Drive, LTD has zero-tolerance towards drugs or alcohol. If at any time the Driving Instructor feels it is unsafe for the Student Driver to operate the vehicle, they will use their discretion to cancel the remainder of the lesson (and full charges will apply).

4. Licence To Drive, LTD vehicles will be used for all driving lessons, as they are equipped with Dual Brake System (use of personal vehicles not permitted).

5. All Licence To Drive, LTD Instructors hold a valid British Columbia Driving Instructor Licence, as required by law.

6. Students must have a valid British Columbia Class 7 Learners or Class 7 Novice licence prior to starting any In-Car driving training program. Students must carry the licence with them for every In-Car driving lesson.

7. In-Car training packages are to be paid in advance and must be completed within 1 year of enrollment. All training packages are non-transferrable, and lessons cannot be split between students (one student per package).

• We do not offer refunds for lessons already completed.

• If a student is unable to complete all In-Car lessons, refunds may be issued at the discretion of Licence To Drive, LTD. Any refunds issued will be subject to a 5% merchant fee for all fees paid by credit card.

8. Driving lessons must be pre-scheduled and pre-paid in full 48 hours prior to each lesson.

9. In-Car driving lessons are to be scheduled on-line, via the Student Portal. Alternatively, lessons can be scheduled by contacting Licence To Drive, LTD via phone/text, or by email.

10. Students are encouraged to provide their feedback by completing evaluations after each In-Car lesson (via Student Portal). Any evaluation provided will be visible on their Student Portal.

11. Student may use a Licence To Drive, LTD vehicle for their schedule ICBC road test for an additional fee of $110 and $2.50 in fuel sur charge.

Cancellations and rescheduling

1. If you want to cancel or reschedule your lesson, we require at least 48 hours notice. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged a $60 fee.

2. Students will be charged a $60 fee to reschedule any no show/missed lesson.

3. Any road test booked via Licence To Drive, LTD will require 72 hours notice to cancel. Failure to do this will result in ICBC charging the student a $25 late cancellation fee.
