Graduate Licence Program (GLP)
Would you like to reduce your wait time for your final road test by 6 months? Then you’ll want to take one of our Graduate Licence Program (GLP) courses.
Our ICBC-approved driver training course engages new drivers in a fun, interactive way. It focuses on safe driving skills, preparing for road tests, and developing a responsible attitude for when behind the wheel.
ICBC GLP approved courses must include:
• at least 16 hours of in-class instruction
• at least 12 hours instruction on the road
• at least 4 hours instructors’ discretion
ICBC GLP approved courses must completed within a one-year period from start to finish while in the learner stage of your GLP licence.
By going through our GLP course, you'll learn the skills and attitudes that will help you become a safe and confident driver. You'll ease into driving in a less risky way— with one of our qualified instructors and always in one of our new ‘Student Driver’ vehicles!
When you complete our ICBC approved (GLP) driver training course and you’re a safe driver with no at-fault crashes, no driving violations, or prohibitions, you could receive six months off your N stage licence. Plus, if you are a high school student, you could also get two grade 11 high school credits.
To get through the learner’s stage(s) of GLP, you'll have to pass three tests at ICBC - one multiple choice test, then two road tests. If you drive safely, it'll take about 2.5 years from start to end, but only if you take an approved GLP courses. That means lots of time to study, practice, and take our GLP driver training program to develop your knowledge and skills for safe driving habits.

BEHIND THE WHEEL TRAINING – WHAT TO EXPECT!
At LTD, we aim to provide comprehensive and personalized driving lessons to ensure that our new driver students not only pass the road test but also become safe and responsible drivers. Our experienced instructors work one-on-one with each student to cater to their learning pace and provide customized lesson plans. The primary focus is on teaching safe driving skills, being courteous to other road users, and promoting responsible driving habits. With LTD, you can be confident that you or your loved one will receive the best possible driving education. Our lesson plans are never set in stone. We will always do our best to accommodate each request so you can focus on your behind the wheel driving and not the distractions!
